You will manage your own matters with increasing autonomy while working alongside experienced practitioners who are passionate about achieving justice for clients.Based in South East Melbourne, you will play a key role in supporting clients through what is often one of the most challenging periods of their lives.What You'll Be DoingAs an Associate, you will:Manage a varied portfolio of Work Injuries matters from inception through to resolutionProvide clear, practical and empathetic legal advice tailored to clients' individual circumstancesDraft legal documents, correspondence and court materials with a high degree of accuracyDevelop and implement effective legal strategies to progress matters and achieve the best possible outcomesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers, medical professionals,
counsel and other stakeholdersParticipate in negotiations, conferences and advocacy opportunities appropriate to your experience levelMaintain excellent file management, billing, time recording and compliance practicesContribute to business development initiatives and professional networking activitiesMentor and support junior team members while contributing to a positive and collaborative team cultureAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Admission to practice in Victoria and a current Australian practising certificateExperience in Work Injuries, Personal Injury or a related plaintiff law practiceStrong knowledge of relevant legislation, legal principles and court processesExcellent communication and client relationship management skillsStrong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailThe ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlinesA genuine commitment to client service and access to justiceProficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice technologyIf you're looking to build your career with a leading plaintiff law firm and are passionate about helping injured workers achieve the outcomes they deserve,
