Monadelphous are seeking an Estimator to join our Maintenance and Industrial Services division on a permanent basis.This position will see you working from our Brisbane Head Office, and responsible for estimating works for energy as well as mining projects.
Periodically you will be required to travel to site for short visits.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional to showcase their skills and make a significant impact on our Maintenance and Industrial Services division here on the East Coast.
You will utilise your ability to scope the work, manage the full estimate, and assist in the planning of the project delivery.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing tender documents and responding to EOI's whilst ensuring suitability against company assessment tools to mitigate potential risksLiaising with clients and suppliers to obtain information pertaining to submissionsCompiling bottom up (norms based) estimates of man-hours and materials including cost calculationsParticipating in pre-award negotiations with the Tender Manager and relevant Area/Project ManagersUndertaking job handover to the project team and ensure that all information required to complete the work efficiently to customer requirements is providedDeveloping and sustaining effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersWhat you will bringDemonstrated experience of design / engineering construction estimating across E&I;, SMP & Civil disciplinesFormal trade or engineering background in a construction environmentStrong commercial acumen with advanced computer literacy and organisational skillsA skillset that can successfully lead and compile all estimate inputs into one master estimateExperience providing inputs to Risk and Prospect reviewsExperience contributing to management reviews,
