You'll act as the operational leader for your line, driving safety, quality, productivity and cost performance while working closely with technical specialists, maintenance and production teams to achieve operational excellence.
This is a Monday to Friday role (typically 7am to 4pm) with an on-call requirement to support the operation when required.What You'll DoLead the overall performance of a 24/7 glass container production line, delivering safety, quality, productivity and cost targetsAnalyse production and quality data to identify trends, solve problems and improve operational outcomesDrive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives that deliver measurable resultsPartner with Forming Specialists, maintenance and quality teams to optimise glass forming performance, maximise efficiencies and minimise defectsInfluence and engage shift teams to achieve performance targets and operational standardsFoster a strong safety culture within a high-risk manufacturing environmentWhat You Will Bring5+ years' experience in glass container manufacturing, with strong knowledge of glass forming processesTechnical expertise gained through engineering qualifications and/or significant manufacturing experience, with a demonstrated ability to improve manufacturing performance.
Bachelor's degree (Production, Engineering, or related discipline)
