We create vibrant places across our state, through diverse and strategic property development and urban renewal projects.Job Type: Full-time, Fixed TermLocation: Melbourne, VictoriaJob Category: ITJob DescriptionYour New RoleThe Change Manager is responsible for leading change activities across the program of IT initiatives, ensuring change is effectively and proactively managed, and impacted business areas experience a smooth transition, which minimises operational risk and disruption.The Change Manager will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of change across the organisation, incorporating change management principles into the IT project delivery framework.You'll report to a manager with more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, specialising in project delivery and program management.
Under her leadership, you'll gain exposure to policy and process development, change management principles, and established project delivery frameworks.
She is a team-oriented and people‐focused leader who empowers her team to work autonomously while ensuring they feel supported, connected, and set up for success.This is a 12-month, fixed-term opportunity where you'll work on a hybrid basis – a mix of working in our head office in Melbourne CBD and working from home.Core AccountabilitiesProvide IT projects with day-to-day change management leadership, subject matter expertise and execution.
Ensure change activities have end-to-end ownership, including delivery of the change work as per agreed plans, ensuring delivery, coordination, and integration of change activities.Develop a Change Management Strategy and Plan for IT projects detailing the overall change management approach,
key activities, resource requirements, risks, impact assessments, change measures and costs.Identify detailed people and process change impacts and map these to comprehensive change implementation and communication plans to ensure planning is robust and captures all variables.Undertake current and future state gap analysis and assess changes and impacts.Support change initiatives through internal communication, behaviour change communication, integration and stakeholder engagement initiatives, including producing consistent communication and briefing material to ensure stakeholder awareness, support and commitment to change initiatives.Identify and manage issues and risks relating to stakeholders and report to the Senior Manager IT Program on the performance of stakeholder management against agreed plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and proactive issue resolution.Develop and deliver effective change plans and change reporting in conjunction with the Senior Manager, IT Programs, to document and communicate change activities.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business relationships and project delivery and to understand and manage the impacts of the change and project implementation plan.Desired Skills and ExperienceYou are someone who has been a Change Manager previously and has implemented a HRIS system before – ideally Dayforce,
but any is fine!
You're across what's required in the HR processes, understanding payroll and finance.
You've got a knack for assessing and managing organisational readiness for change, and can be on the forefront of communicating, planning and getting the organisation ready for the change.You can communicate clearly with stakeholders and work comfortably with groups that will be impacted by the change to ensure a smooth transition.
