and training performancePromoting a proactive safety culture and operational excellence across all levels of the workforceProviding expert guidance and mentoring on HSE management systemsCoaching and developing leaders in critical risk management processesEngaging with clients regarding WHS activities and monitoring site safety performance indicatorsPreparing and distributing weekly and monthly HSE reports, presentations, and safety communicationsLeading incident investigations and overseeing corrective actions and hazard reporting processesCoordinating rehabilitation and return-to-work programs, including liaison with health professionals and injured workersIdentifying opportunities to improve safety, environmental, quality, and training systems and processesConducting and coordinating site-based drug and alcohol testing, fitness assessments, and hydration monitoringAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or higher qualification)Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentMinimum 5 years' experience in a Health and Safety roleStrong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, and incident investigation processesExceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to influence positive safety behaviours across all levels of an organisationCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceHighly Desirable:Underground operational knowledgeExperience working within the mining or heavy industrial sectorsReturn-to-work and injury management experienceRecruitment ProcessBarminco is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.
