This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee daily manufacturing operation, production planning, safety, quality and team leadership, ensuring the production facility operates efficiently and meets output targets every day.You'll inspire, develop and empower your team while driving innovation and manufacturing excellence to deliver outstanding results.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily production operations to ensure output targets, quality standards and delivery timeframes are consistently metManage, coach, and develop production teams, including recruitment, performance management, training, and fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.Oversee maintenance of plant, equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient production output.Identify, implement, and champion production and process improvements and efficiencies.Influence daily decision-making and resource allocation to optimise production efficiency and throughputCollaborate with internal stakeholders including scheduling, logistics and sales to meet production and delivery requirementsEnsure compliance with all organisational, safety, and legislative requirements, maintaining a culture of accountability and care.The PersonYou're a driven and results-focused leader who takes pride in quality, teamwork, and production excellence.




You thrive in a quick-paced environment and bring a practical, hands-on approach to leadership.What You'll BringIndustry expertise: Extensive experience in construction or manufacturing (glass experience highly regarded), with exposure to high volume manufacturing and production environmentsLeadership strength: Proven ability to mentor, develop, and empower teams to achieve success while remaining actively involved in day-to-day production.Excellent communicator: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organisational skills with sharp attention to detail.Commercial acumen: Sound financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, with the discipline and focus to deliver results.Tech savvy: Confident using Microsoft Office, ERP, CRM, and quoting systems (e.g. V6).
