We work closely with Australian and international businesses, organisations and governments.About The RoleWe are currently looking for an Associate/Lawyer (2-5 PQE) to join our innovative Dispute Resolution & Litigation team.
In this role you will be involved in a diverse range of litigation matters, including commissions and inquiries, competition and consumer law, intellectual property disputes, defamation matters and various regulatory matters, providing sound and practical advice for private and public sector clients.
The work is complex and challenging which will see you working closely with leading partner Shaun Temby and alongside other exceptional litigators and like‐minded professionals in a collaborative team environment.
You will be recognised for personal achievements and receive mentoring from senior team members to ensure your professional skills continue to grow and develop.About YouIdeally you will have:Significant broad litigation experience (advisory, mediation, hearings and litigation), including working in a high volume practiceStrong technical,
drafting and research skillsImpressive academic qualificationsAn engaging manner with excellent communication skills at all levelsWell-developed negotiation skills and strong attention to detailExperience in historic abuse claims or significant personal injury experience would be preferred.Why join Maddocks?
