THE POSITION
Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all culinary offerings within the site canteen
Support the monitoring and evaluation of food production and menu-based catering to ensure quality and consistency
Assist with stock control and provide mentoring and training to staff as needed to foster skill development and teamwork
Ensure strict adherence to allergy awareness protocols to maintain a safe dining environment
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety,



and cleanliness at all times
THE PERSON
Minimum
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
required
A
team player
with a positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
Proven experience in
bulk food production
and
à la carte service
for events and functions
Solid knowledge of
HACCP
, food safety, and infection control practices
Current
National Police Check (within last 3 months)
Must be an
Australian citizen
or actively progressing through a residency pathway
Has reliable transport, as there is limited access to public transport
