About the Role
You'll lead the coordination and delivery of key strategic and corporate planning projects, bringing together stakeholders from across the organisation to deliver important outcomes such as:
Annual Business Plan
Long Term Financial Plan
City Vision
Corporate performance reports




Strategic planning and reporting frameworks
You'll also play a critical role in ensuring Council's decisions are informed by evidence, data and community outcomes.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
Managing and coordinating end-to-end strategic planning and reporting projects involving multiple stakeholders across Council
Preparing high-quality reports, briefings and presentations for senior leaders and elected members
Analysing performance, community and organisational data to generate meaningful insights and support informed decision-making
Building solid stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively across teams to achieve shared outcomes and strategic alignment
About You
You're someone who enjoys bringing people together to deliver strategic outcomes. An exceptional communicator and relationship builder, you can manage projects from initiation to completion, influence stakeholders, coordinate competing priorities and translate data into meaningful insights. You're customer-focused, solutions-oriented and comfortable working across multiple teams to achieve shared outcomes, all while bringing sound judgement, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset. Most importantly, you're collaborative, adaptable and passionate about delivering positive outcomes for both the organisation and the community.




We'd love to see:
Tertiary qualifications in strategy, public policy, research, project management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience managing projects and coordinating stakeholders within local government, public sector or a similarly complex organisation
Understanding of governance, legislative requirements and strategic planning frameworks

This position is classified at a Level 6 with a current salary of $112,394 per annum (plus superannuation).
