About the Role
Reporting to and working under the direction of the Academic Director, this position provides day-to-day academic administration and operational support across the Academy.
This is a practical role combining academic administration, student support and classroom teaching.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate student class placement, attendance monitoring and academic progress processes.
Support student counselling, welfare, interventions and follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate student records and ensure extensions, warnings and intervention actions are completed promptly.
Maintain and monitor the Phoenix Learning Management System, including staff and student access.
Take minutes and follow up agreed actions from academic progress review meetings chaired by the Academic Director.
Assist with the academic coordination of study tours, special-focus classes and other programs.
Assist the Academic Director to prepare and maintain teaching rosters four to six weeks in advance.
Coordinate casual and relief teaching arrangements.
Liaise with Student Services, Admissions and teaching staff to ensure academic matters are communicated and actioned promptly.
Undertake teaching across the Academy's programs as required.
About You
You will be an experienced educator with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys combining teaching with academic administration.
You will be confident supporting students and teaching staff, managing competing priorities and working collaboratively in a busy international education environment.
You will ideally possess:
A minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Demonstrated teaching experience in ELICOS and/or VET.
Experience in academic administration, student progress monitoring or academic coordination.
Experience working with learning management systems and student management systems.
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to manage confidential and sensitive student matters professionally.
A collaborative, practical and solutions-focused approach.
A strong commitment to student wellbeing, academic quality and accurate administration.
Experience within international education, CRICOS or a multicultural education workplace will be highly regarded.
