About the Role
Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business while developing strong relationships with brokers and supporting the ongoing success of our underwriting team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys making decisions, solving problems and building trusted relationships.
Key Responsibilities
· Assess new business, renewals and endorsements within delegated authority.
· Deliver practical underwriting solutions whilst maintaining profitability.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers.
· Provide timely responses to broker enquiries and referrals.
· Identify opportunities to grow quality business.
· Maintain underwriting records and documentation.
· Work collaboratively with claims, compliance and administration teams.
· Contribute ideas to improve underwriting processes and customer service.




· Support the continued development of our underwriting products.
About You
· Previous insurance underwriting experience (agency or insurer).
· Strong relationship management skills.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Sound commercial judgement.
· Robust attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
· Positive, professional attitude with a genuine customer focus.
