We're currently looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a casual basis.
Whether you're looking for additional shifts, flexibility around other commitments, or a clinic where you can continue to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you.
This role would suit a Certificate II or Certificate IV qualified Veterinary Nurse who is confident in their nursing abilities and comfortable working independently when required.

About The Role
As a Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting both our patients and our veterinary team.
Your Responsibilities Will Include




Assisting veterinarians during consultations and proceduresMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical patientsAdministering medications and treatmentsCollecting samples and performing diagnostic testingProviding nursing care for hospitalised patientsMaintaining patient records and treatment plansSupporting clients through routine visits and more challenging situationsManaging admissions and dischargesMaintaining clinic hygiene, equipment, and treatment areasAssisting with reception duties when requiredDelivering outstanding patient care and customer service
As this is a casual role, we're looking for someone who can confidently work both as part of a team and independently when required.
The ability to manage your workload, use initiative, and maintain high standards of patient care while working solo is essential.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a Certificate II or Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingHas previous clinical veterinary nursing experienceIs confident and capable working independently when neededHas strong medical and surgical nursing skillsDemonstrates excellent animal handling abilitiesCommunicates effectively with clients and colleaguesIs organised, reliable, and proactiveEnjoys working as part of a supportive teamBrings a positive attitude and genuine passion for animal care
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, advocating for your patients, and contributing positively to team culture.
