We have the opportunity for a medical receptionist to join our expanding and welcoming Skin Cancer Clinic.
ABOUT US:

We are currently seeking a friendly, innovative, and empathetic skilled to join our expanding practice as a medical receptionist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greeting patients in a warm and welcoming manner
Taking appointments and managing practitioners' calendars and client needs
Responding to face-to-face, telephone, and email inquiries
Taking payments and processing Medicare and private health claims
Issuing invoices and receipts
Maintaining and updating patient records and ensuring confidentiality
Providing practitioners, management, staff, external providers, and clients with general administrative support
Assisting in the maintenance of policies, procedures, and practice systems
Keeping the reception area clean and organised.
ABOUT YOU:




Minimum of 2 years' experience as a receptionist or in a similar role (Essential)
Previous medical practice experience (Highly Regarded)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Essential)
Familiarity with medical software (Highly Regarded)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Excellent time-management and organisational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and attitude
Willingness to learn and develop
