Warehouse Equipment Maintenance Coordinator
to join our team on a 12-month contract, as we settle into our purpose-built facility in Aura (Caloundra)!
We're a well-established Sunshine Coast business with 30 years of success and over 190 team members, currently operating across 6,000sqm of warehousing space in Aura.

About the Role
This newly created role, is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Equipment Maintenance Coordinator to help maintain a brand new picking and dispatch warehouse automation system.

Working closely with your two fellow Maintenance Coordinators in a collaborative, job-share style arrangement, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all warehouse equipment
Maintenance & preventative works on our picking and dispatch automation system
Minimising equipment downtime and operational disruption
Maintaining WH&S; compliance in collaboration with the Head of People, Culture and Safety, including routine testing
Managing relationships with contractors, service providers and third parties
Supporting external technicians with specialised or warranty repairs
Sourcing and rebuilding parts; maintaining spare parts inventory and maintenance logs
Performing scheduled inspections and servicing on equipment
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and assisting with troubleshooting breakdowns
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
Aligning maintenance activities with warehouse operational needs
Ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed and accurately recorded
Safe operation of company equipment and forklifts
Assisting other warehouse departments as directed by the Head of Supply Chain
Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
Demonstrated experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical or electrical trades, or a similar technical role
A mind for problem solving
Strong understanding of WH&S; requirements in a warehouse environment
Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling and record-keeping
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
Prowess in systems — comfortable navigating warehouse automation software, control systems and digital maintenance, with the confidence to pick up new systems quickly
A current forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple maintenance priorities
Confident communicator; able to liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal teams in a calm, professional and respectful manner
A collaborative team player
Proficiency in maintaining logs, registers and digital maintenance records
