Clerk Grade*****.
Base salary $ 149,739 p.a. to $ 173,174 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

About the team
The Legal, Governance and Risk division provides a wide range of enabling services including legal, genealogy, governance, risk and compliance, information and privacy, and policy and performance.
About the role
The Senior Manager, Risk and Compliance provides strategic leadership in strengthening governance, risk and compliance across NSW Trustee and Guardian.
Reporting to the Director, Legal, Governance and Risk, the role leads enterprise risk management, compliance and integrity frameworks, ensuring alignment with legislation, government policy and best‐practice standards.
You will provide expert advice to the Executive Leadership Team, embed a strong risk and compliance culture, and oversee fraud, ethics and corruption control programs.
The role drives continuous improvement through effective systems, controls and reporting,
and works collaboratively with senior leaders and external bodies to enhance organisational integrity and performance.

About you
You bring in depth knowledge of organisational governance, public sector practice, government operations, NSW Treasury policy and the legislative framework guiding NSW public sector financial management.
You have extensive experience in risk management, governance and compliance, supported by solid analytical, communication and leadership capability, and a sound understanding of contemporary risk management frameworks and operating models.
You hold tertiary qualifications and experience in governance, risk and compliance, with membership of a relevant professional body such as the Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA), or equivalent experience and demonstrate a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
