About the Role
Alpha Sentry Group Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and professional
FIFO Security Guard (8:6 roster)
to join our team at one of our sites.
This casual permanent position is ideal for someone who values consistency, professionalism, and the opportunity to work with a leading security services provider in the mining and resources sector.
You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel, assets, and facilities on site.
This includes access control, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents in accordance with site policies and safety procedures.
Roster & Hours
8:6 FIFO roster
Daily shifts:

AM Wet Mess opening and resident purchase checks

PM Wet Mess opening
Key Responsibilities
Access Control
Monitor and control entry and exit points to site
Verify identification and authorisation of all personnel and visitors
Maintain accurate sign‐in/sign‐out records
Site Patrols
Conduct regular patrols of accommodation areas, facilities, and perimeters
Identify and report hazards, breaches, or suspicious activity
Incident Management
Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or disturbances
Escalate issues to site management when required
Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner
Monitoring & Surveillance
Observe site activities to ensure compliance with site rules




Monitor key areas including wet mess, camp facilities, and common areas
Compliance & Safety
Enforce site rules and regulations
Ensure compliance with WHS standards and company policies
Support emergency response procedures when required
Communication
Liaise professionally with site management, staff, and contractors
Provide clear and accurate handovers between shifts

What We're Looking For
Previous security experience (mining or FIFO preferred but not essential)
Current security licence
Strong communication and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism at all times
Commitment to safety, compliance, and high‐quality service
