Established in ****, the Art
Gallery of Current South Wales is located in Sydney's The Domain adjacent to the
Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery
acknowledges the original custodians of this land – the Gadigal people.
The Art Gallery attracts around 2
million visitors annually and runs Australia's largest education program with
over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.
With our expanded campus the Art Gallery has
a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved
building.
Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Art
Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family,
learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

About the Role
The Project Coordinator, Exhibitions and
Capital works is responsible for assisting with project management and support
activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects
including exhibition building works, capital works and minor projects in line
with established objectives.
The position ensures the planning,
prioritisation and implementation of exhibitions and capital works aligns with
building standards, specifications, heritage requirements and workplace health
and safety standards.

What Technical/Soft Skills you require
Experience in the development and implementation of building projects including cost estimating,
contract administration, contractor management and safety systems.
Experience in the development of documentation associated with building contracts.
Managing government procurement processes, including tenders (where relevant) to ensure compliance with Government legislation and policies
Understanding and experience in the management of building projects.
NSW
drivers licence preferred.
