About the Role
We're looking for experienced
Blast & Paint Operators
to join our growing team.
You'll work on commercial vessels, performing:
Surface preparation (abrasive blasting, grit cleaning)
Spray painting and coating application (epoxy, polyurethane, anti-fouling)
Paint systems knowledge and quality control
Secure containment and waste management
Equipment maintenance and compliance
What We're After:
Proven blasting and painting experience
Formal qualifications preferred
Understanding of maritime paint systems and vessel-specific requirements
Attention to surface preparation quality
Can work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to develop skills further

The role will take genuine ownership of vessel maintenance, crewing standards, and operational readiness.
Working closely with Port Pilots to coordinate pilotage bookings and SHIPS system requirements, this role will be the primary point of contact for all tug-related activities.
Working Conditions
Work performed across shipyard, slipway, harbour, and vessel environments.
Shift work, overtime, weekends, and call-outs may be required.
Exposure to varying weather conditions and outdoor environments.
Physical tasks including line handling, vessel boarding, climbing, and lifting.
Mandatory use of appropriate PPE across all operational areas.
