Liverpool Hospital is seeking a senior experience peri-operative nurse to lead Perioperative services at one of NSW largest hospitals.
This temporary position, to cover planned leave is an excellent opportunity to deepen your leadership and operational skills in a dynamic and innovative department.
You will lead a diverse leadership team that is committed to delivering excellent nursing care in the peri-operative environment.
The role is an essential member of the senior leadership team and is accountable for a range of measures, including significant input into surgical planning, as well as overseeing the large daily operation.
The role reports directly to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, and you will be supported and developed by the Nursing & Midwifery Executive Team.
Are You the Right Fit?
The ideal candidate will have:
Robust clinical background in Perioperative Services
Well developed leadership capability
In-depth knowledge of operating theatre benchmarks and the associated policy and procedures
Ability to lead a complex daily operation whilst also delivering on deadlines and more strategic goals
Ability to manage a leadership team that is diverse
Manage multiple demands and priorities
