Salary:
$84,659 - $92,701 p.a. base salary (employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading is paid in addition to the base salary.)
Work type:
Full - Time - 35 hours per week, 24 months with a possibility of extension or conversion to ongoing.

Our primary place of work is the CSO Office located at ***** Elizabeth Street, Sydney.

About the role
The Inclusion and Wellbeing Officer is a key role supporting and coordinating initiatives that promote a safe, inclusive, and healthy workplace across the Crown Solicitor's Office (CSO).
This position provides high-level administrative and project support for diversity and inclusion programs and wellbeing, work health and safety, including organising events and training, communications, research and working group meetings.
A core focus of the role is providing secretariat support to the CSO's inclusion, wellbeing, and reconciliation working groups - preparing agendas and meeting papers, recording minutes and actions, and ensuring outcomes are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
The role also maintains accurate electronic records and data, supports financial processes such as purchasing and invoicing, conducts research and contributes to drafting and updating policies and procedures to reflect best practice and legislative requirements.
The Inclusion and Wellbeing Officer works closely with the Inclusion and Wellbeing Partner, the Wellbeing, Health and Safety Advisor, and the broader People & Culture team to support case management activities and deliver CSO's inclusion and wellbeing projects and initiatives.
The role also liaises with shared services, insurers, and external providers - including training and rehabilitation specialists - to coordinate programs and services.

Essential requirements
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)

Robust administration and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise competing demands, and maintain accurate records.

A strong genuine commitment to inclusion and wellbeing, work health and safety, demonstrating sound judgement and discretion in all aspects of your work.
Knowledge and understanding of the NSW Work Health and Safety legislative framework, including the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act ****.
