Hydraulic Technician
to join our team on a

Based in Cavan, SA ****, this role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in hydraulic systems maintenance, repair, and installation.
As a Hydraulic Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' hydraulic equipment operates safely and efficiently, directly contributing to their operational success and minimising downtime.
Key responsibilities
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components using appropriate testing equipment
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of hydraulic equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend component lifespan
Repair and replace faulty hydraulic components, hoses, seals, pumps and valves
Assemble and install hydraulic systems according to technical specifications and customer requirements
Inspect hydraulic systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
Document work completed, including maintenance records, repairs and inspections
Provide technical advice to customers regarding hydraulic system operation and maintenance
Work safely in accordance with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
What we're looking for
A recognised qualification in hydraulics, mechanical engineering or a related trade
Proven experience working with hydraulic systems, air jacks, floor jacks, components and equipment in an industrial or commercial setting
Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, fluid dynamics and system operation




Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing equipment specific to hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and service manuals
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fault diagnosis and repair
Strong manual dexterity and the ability to work with hand and power tools safely
Good communication skills and the ability to document work clearly and accurately
A commitment to workplace health and safety standards and practices
Current driver's licence and forklift licence is a must-have
