Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel will transform how visitors experience Mooloolaba.
Positioned just 100 metres from its pristine beach, the hotel sits where surf breaks meet the buzzing esplanade.
The design will seamlessly blend contemporary with coastal, the perfect backdrop for a beach escape with a side of adventure.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will play an important role in supporting the hotel's day to day maintenance and stores operations, assisting with basic maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and preventive upkeep across the hotel and its associated assets while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
You will help keep the property in excellent working condition and consistently looking its best, while also supporting stores management through receiving deliveries, conducting inspections and quantity checks, and ensuring items are stored and distributed safely and securely.
This is a hands-on and varied role that suits someone energetic, enthusiastic, and physically fit, and while previous experience in a similar position is an advantage, it is not essential as we welcome individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks and checks
· Perform minor repairs including, painting, patching, basic plumbing, cleaning, tiling, joinery, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling
· Maintain outdoor areas including, garden beds with basic foliage maintenance and rubbish removal from grounds where required
· Receive goods; check stock, store and move receivables safely and securely
· Assist in a energetic environment where you may be required to help out in other departments willingly
· Stock and spares inventory record keeping




· Support upgrades, installations or assembly as required
