About the Role
We're looking for reliable, organised and enthusiastic people who enjoy working in fast-paced food service environments.
As a
School Canteen Supervisor
, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of a school canteen, support your team and ensure excellent food quality and customer service.
As a




School Canteen Operator
, you'll prepare fresh food, serve students and staff, maintain food safety standards and help keep the canteen running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps and hot food
Providing friendly customer service
Processing cash and EFTPOS sales
Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
Ordering stock and managing deliveries
Leading and supporting staff (Supervisor roles)
Creating a welcoming environment for students and school staff
We're Looking For People Who:
Have hospitality, café, canteen or food service experience
Thrive in busy service environments
Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
Have excellent customer service skills
Take pride in producing quality food
Are reliable, organised and punctual
Have robust food safety and hygiene standards
Leadership experience is regarded for Supervisor positions.
Barista experience is an advantage but not essential.
Availability Requirements
School Canteen Supervisor roles
Available
Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 2:00pm
during school terms.
School Canteen Operator roles
Available to work regular casual shifts during school terms, with flexible hours available.
You will also require:
Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
RRHAN-EC Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
