We are looking for an experienced and reliable
Civil Construction Drainer & Machine Operator
to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role working on a variety of civil construction projects, including Subdivisions, stormwater, sewer, water, and drainage infrastructure.
The successful applicant will be confident operating machinery, installing drainage systems, and working safely as part of a productive crew.
Key Responsibilities
Install stormwater, sewer, and drainage infrastructure.
Operate excavators and other civil construction machinery.
Read and interpret construction plans and set out works.
Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
Maintain a safe and compliant worksite.
Work effectively within a team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in civil construction and drainage.




Competent excavator operator.
Knowledge of underground service systems
Current Construction White Card.
Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous).
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Strong understanding of safe work practices.
Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable
Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets.
Excavator, skid steer, roller, or loader competencies.
First Aid certificate.
Experience with GPS machine guidance systems.
