Where you'll be working
Based at Westmead Hospital, you'll join a dedicated Pre‐Admission Clinic team supporting patients preparing for upcoming procedures.

What you'll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will deliver direct nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse while contributing to high‐quality pre‐admission services.
You'll play an integral role in patient assessment, documentation and ensuring safe, efficient care pathways.
Monitor and recognise normal/abnormal patient observations and escalate concerns
Deliver care in line with established nursing care plans and professional scope of practice
Provide patient support, comfort and assistance with daily living to promote independence
Maintain accurate documentation aligned with organisational and clinical protocols
Contribute to a collaborative nursing team and uphold NSW Health and WSLHD policies

Essential Requirements
Registration: Current Enrolled Nurse Division 2 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Relevant and recent clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal
Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.
Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to continuing professional development and demonstrated ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training
