About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our dedicated and high performing team at Griffith Emergency, and Short Stay unit.
In this pivotal role, you will provide advanced, patient-centred care while exercising clinical judgement, leadership, and professional autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
As the Registered Nurse, you will:
Provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards and legislation.
Conduct patient assessments, contribute to care planning, and evaluate outcomes to support safe and effective care delivery.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to drive optimal patient outcomes and ensure seamless care delivery.
Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and promote a culture of safety and learning.
Demonstrate experience acute care nursing, emergency nursing and managing patients awaiting results and short-term stays in the unit.
Use of escalation pathways when needed and arranging for safe discharge home.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Desirable , 12 months experience in a Emergency department.
Knowledge and skills to develop and document a plan of care that reflects the identified needs of the patient, with co ordinating safe effective and efficient discharge planning or transfer.
Proven ability to work independently and across multidisciplinary teams, with a commitment to mentoring and supporting team members.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A strong commitment to person-centred care, cultural safety, and ongoing professional development.
