Hawkesbury District Hospital Intensive Care Unit/Critical Care Unit (ICU/CCU) is seeking motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join our critical care team.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver high quality, patient centred care in a supportive and collaborative critical care environment.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and a commitment to excellence in critical care nursing.
The preferred candidate will require current Advanced Life Support certification and a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care (or a willingness to obtain).

What you will bring to the role
Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
Recent experience working in an Intensive Care or Critical Care environment.
Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
