KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate suction devices, water sprays, and other dental equipment to assist practitioners during treatments.
Process and develop dental X-rays in accordance with clinic protocols and radiation safety standards.
Clean, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control and cross-contamination prevention.
Perform routine maintenance and care of dental equipment to ensure proper functioning and hygiene.
Educate and advise patients on oral hygiene, dental health practices, and post-operative care as directed by the dentist.
Provide front-desk and administrative support, including booking appointments, maintaining patient records, handling billing, and processing payments when required.
Ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the dental clinic.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Hold an AQF Certificate III in Dental Assisting or a relevant qualification.




At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of clinical procedures and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a team.
A positive attitude with a commitment to patient care and team collaboration.
Ability working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Reliable, punctual and highly professional.
