Your role
Homes NSW is a division of the Department of Communities and Justice.
It brings together the housing and homelessness functions of the Department of Communities and Justice, the NSW Land and Housing Corporation, Aboriginal Housing Office and key worker housing functions from across government all under one roof.
Homes NSW leads work to deliver more social and affordable housing, end the cycle of homelessness, and deliver quality public housing to our 262,000 tenants across NSW.
This role will support the Project Director to manage large and complex projects to deliver initiatives to support Housing Portfolio's maintenance programs that improve the condition of the asset portfolio and provide clean, safe and habitable dwellings and communities for NSW's most vulnerable people.
This role will undertake research and analysis to identify options in order to support the development of key projects and undertaking analysis of the performance of these projects.
What you'll do
Manage and oversee particular aspects of stakeholder consultation and project implementation including developing and monitoring project plans and coordinating stakeholders and resources.
Manage and undertake research and analysis to support the development of key projects and provide advice to the Project Director to support decision making.
Manage projects designed to evaluate, review, monitor and improve the effectiveness of service delivery and social housing tenant outcomes.
Provide timely advice and communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders, particularly in respect to project status, implementation issues and outcomes.
Provide advice and support to project team members and stakeholders in undertaking project tasks and implementing project plans as required.
Provide proactive and evidence-based practice advice to support the Senior Executive in assessing the impact of program direction changes on decision-making.
Prepare a range of project related documents, including status updates, reports, presentations, discussion papers together with various plans and Ministerials where appropriate.
What we're looking for




Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or comparable relevant experience
Project management, evaluation and/or social research/social planning skills and experience, with an understanding or interest in current social housing policy.
Critical analysis skills to draw accurate conclusions that recognise and manage contextual issues
Superior computer skills and ability to manage large datasets to develop management reports
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
