As a growing South Australian not-for-profit, we provide free support to parents navigating the child protection system, helping families build capacity, overcome barriers and work towards safer outcomes for their children.
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate
Family Case Manager
who is passionate about empowering families through trauma-informed, strengths-based practice.
As a
Family Case Manager,
you'll work directly with parents and families navigating the child protection system, providing practical support, education and guidance during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
You'll build trusted relationships, assist families to understand statutory processes, prepare for meetings, develop parent plans and connect them with the services they need to achieve their goals.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll advocate within your scope, coordinate referrals and contribute to improved outcomes for children and families through compassionate, evidence-informed practice.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage a caseload of parents and families accessing Reily's services.
Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based case management and practical support.




Prepare and support clients attending Department for Child Protection meetings
Assist families to understand child protection processes and develop achievable parent plans.
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with services.
Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to service reporting and quality improvement.
Identify systemic issues and contribute to improving practice across the organisation.
Co-facilitate parenting workshops and education sessions as required.
About You
Qualification in Social Work, Human Services or a related discipline.
Minimum two years' experience working with vulnerable children and families.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and advocacy skills.
Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities.
Experience navigating complex service systems and working alongside statutory agencies.
A commitment to cultural safety, continuous learning and reflective practice.
Essential Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification.
Working with Children Check.
South Australian Police Check.
Mandatory Notification Training.
Current Driver's Licence.
Registration with an appropriate skilled body (where applicable).
