About the Role:
Medirecruit is currently recruiting for an experienced
Consultant Respiratory Physician
to join a leading tertiary health service in Adelaide, South Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with strong expertise in
general respiratory medicine
,
lung cancer management
, and
procedural bronchoscopy
to join a well-established multidisciplinary team within a major referral and teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will contribute across a broad respiratory medicine service with a particular focus on:
General respiratory medicine clinics and inpatient care
Thoracic oncology and lung cancer pathways
Diagnostic and procedural bronchoscopy
Participation in multidisciplinary tumour board and respiratory services
Collaboration with oncology, radiology, thoracic surgery, and palliative care teams
Teaching, mentoring, and clinical leadership activities

About You:
Fellowship (or equivalent specialist qualification) in Respiratory and/or General Medicine
Demonstrated experience in respiratory medicine and thoracic oncology
Strong bronchoscopy and procedural respiratory skills
Commitment to patient-centred multidisciplinary care
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
