About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Estimator/Planner to join our team on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week, with overtime if required.
This role is located in Portland or onsite at project locations.
In this role,



you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, developing project plans, coordinating resources, and supporting the successful delivery of electrical projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
You'll work closely with clients, suppliers, project managers, and field teams to ensure jobs are costed, scheduled, and delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing accurate electrical estimates and quotations
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
Developing project schedules and work plans
Coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractor requirements
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Assisting with tender submissions and project handovers
Monitoring project progress and updating schedules as required
Identifying risks, variations, and cost impacts
Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and job files
Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and safety regulations
Supporting the smooth delivery of projects from planning through to completion
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years experience in electrical estimating, planning, or project coordination
Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials,



and installation methods
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficient computer skills, including estimating and scheduling software
Reliable, punctual, well presented in appearance, and professional
Desirable
Trade background as an A Grade Electrician or similar electrical experience
Experience in commercial, industrial, or maintenance estimating
Knowledge of project management principles
Experience with tendering and procurement
Familiarity with electrical compliance requirements and Australian Standards
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Current Australian Driver's Licence
