We're seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen governance, risk, compliance and workplace safety across a highly regarded independent school.
Reporting to the Executive Director – Business Operations, you'll partner with senior leaders, provide strategic advice to the Executive and Board, and ensure the organisation continues to meet its legislative and regulatory obligations.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced risk or compliance qualified from construction, infrastructure, healthcare, government, manufacturing, education or another highly regulated environment looking to step into a rewarding role with exceptional work-life balance and outstanding benefits.What's on offer?

compliance and risk management expertise.About the roleYou will oversee the organisation's:Enterprise Risk Management FrameworkCompliance framework and regulatory obligationsPolicy and procedure governanceInternal audits and compliance reviewsOccupational Health & Safety frameworkIncident management and corrective actionsRisk reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and BoardStaff compliance and risk training programsWorking across all business areas, you'll identify emerging risks, develop mitigation strategies, ensure legislative compliance and foster a strong culture of governance and continuous improvement.Key responsibilitiesLead and maintain enterprise risk and compliance frameworksDevelop, review and manage organisational policies and proceduresConduct compliance reviews and internal auditsPrepare risk reports and executive-level reporting for leadership and the BoardMonitor legislative and regulatory changes and implement required updatesManage organisational risk registers and compliance registersCoordinate governance and policy review processesOversee workplace health and safety systems and committee activitiesInvestigate incidents, identify trends and implement corrective actionsDeliver compliance and risk training to staffSupport leaders with risk assessments for projects, events and operational activitiesAbout youYou'll be a collaborative and proactive professional who enjoys building robust relationships while maintaining robust governance standards.You'll ideally bring:Demonstrated experience in risk management,
