This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges and contributing to a modern, scalable data ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse complex source systems to understand data structures, semantics, and data quality characteristicsMap source system data into enterprise and analytical data models to ensure consistency and usabilityDesign, develop, and refine analytical data structures that support reporting, analytics, and integration requirementsCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for data lineage, mappings, and modelling decisionsBuild and enhance data pipelines that ingest, transform, and integrate data across multiple platforms and consumption layersDevelop and maintain workflow orchestration processes and DAGs with transparent dependencies and transformation logicOptimise data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability,



and operational efficiencyPartner with business stakeholders, data analysts, and technology teams to validate data definitions and modelling assumptionsSupport the delivery of high-quality, trusted data assets that enable informed business decision-makingWhat You Will Bring5+ years' experience in data engineering, analytical data modelling, and transformation designStrong knowledge of analytical data modelling concepts, including facts, dimensions, grain, and historical data patternsExperience with Data Vault modelling and enterprise data modelling frameworksProven ability to analyse complex source systems and translate business requirements into scalable data solutionsAdvanced SQL skills and experience implementing complex transformation logic, ideally within Google BigQuery environmentsExperience working with large and complex datasets in enterprise environmentsExposure to data orchestration and workflow tools such as Airflow or ComposerTertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experiencePeople-inspired techDeep expertise combined with creativity can take on the trickiest of problems.
