Will be running projects from smaller up to $5m+.
Projects are generally Industrial, Defence, Marine or Commercial in nature, experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar across buildings and infrastructure will be an advantage.Years of experience:5 years +Responsibilities include but not limited to:Conduct onsite HSE and quality inductions with all onsite staff / subcontractorsReview and manage key project issuesLiaise with statutory bodies ensuring all relevant notifications are madeEnsure site compound and amenities are established and maintainedOrganise all site inspections with clients, authorities and consultantsAssist Project Manager with preparing scopes of workUnderstand head and subcontractor contracts, especially in relation to timeframesProduce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing worksQualifications and Requirements:Trade or building related QualificationMinimum 5 years' experience in site supervision of construction projects including planning, programming and management of onsite staff / subcontractorsConstruction Safety Induction (White) cardSenior First Aid CertificateSound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sitesProven ability to lead and motivate subcontractorsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelAustralian Citizenship ideally to work on Defence projectsThis is a permanent full-time position providing a great chance to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
