We encourage applications from individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.The opportunityIFYS is seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Implementation Lead, to deliver the implementation of the Payroll and Time & Attendance systems.Working closely with key internal stakeholders and system vendors, this role oversees project delivery, change management, testing, training, and post-implementation optimisation to achieve a successful implementation.What's on offer?

and quality standardsCollaborate with key internal stakeholders to identify business requirements, map current processes, and design future payroll and workforce management solutionsSupport the configuration of payroll rules, awards, classifications, allowances, leave provisions, timesheets, and workforce management settingsEnsure all payroll processes and system configurations comply with relevant legislation, Award requirements, Fair Work obligations, taxation requirements, superannuation regulations, and organisational requirementsCoordinate the extraction, cleansing, validation, and migration of data, ensuring accuracy and integrityDevelop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to validate payroll accuracy and system functionalityBuild effective relationships with all stakeholdersDevelop and deliver training materials, user guides, and communication plansIdentify, assess, and mitigate implementation risks and provide improvement recommendationsProvide implementation stabilisation support following go-live, monitor system performance, resolve payroll-related issues,



and identify optimisation opportunitiesRequirements Of The RoleDemonstrated experience leading payroll system implementationsExperience delivering end-to-end payroll processing in a complex environmentStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across HR, Finance, and ITProven project management and change management capabilitiesExperience with ELMO and Definitiv is highly desirableExperience in payroll data migration, testing, and system validationStrong understanding of payroll compliance, SCHADS award, and legislative requirementsHigh-level analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skillsMust hold or be willing to obtain if successfulValid Queensland Driver's Licence with no restrictionsQueensland Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)Ability to provide two references from recent employers (including your current line manager)National Crime Check (a new check will be completed through IFYS systems)Application and assessment processShortlisted candidates will be asked to participate in a skills-based assessment.Applications close: 5:00pm on Monday 10th August ****.
