Building Certifier | AdelaideRare opportunity for an experienced Building Certifier to join a highly respected consultancy with a long-standing reputation for technical excellence and staff retention.Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a senior Building Certifier to join an established Adelaide-based team.
Positions at this level are uncommon, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced qualified looking for a stable, collaborative environment where their expertise will be highly valued.Working across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, you will play a key role in guiding projects through the building approval and compliance process, providing practical advice to clients and supporting construction teams from design through to completion.The RoleThis is a varied and hands-on position combining both office-based technical assessments and on-site inspections.
You will be responsible for managing a broad range of certification activities, working closely with builders, architects, developers and consultants to ensure projects achieve compliance with relevant building standards and legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct mandatory and critical stage construction inspections across residential and commercial projectsAssess building plans, drawings and supporting documentation for compliancePrepare detailed compliance assessments and approval recommendationsProvide expert guidance on building regulations, legislation and National Construction Code (NCC)
