We take pride in the partnerships we have built with local communities and Traditional Owners, creating shared value through responsible mining and long‐term investment in the region.Your impactAs Engineer, Network, you will play a key role in maintaining, securing and optimising the communications and network infrastructure that supports one of Australia's largest gold mining operations.Reporting to the Team Lead, Networks, you will support the design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of critical network and communications systems across the Boddington operation.
Working across LAN, WAN, WiFi, Microwave and LTE technologies, you will help ensure these systems remain reliable, secure and high‐performing, enabling protected and productive site operations.You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Operations and Project teams to ensure network services remain reliable, secure and aligned with business and operational requirements.As part of our team you willSupport and maintain site communications technologies, including wireless networks, microwave links and LTE systemsMonitor network performance, identify issues and implement improvements to maximise reliability and availabilityProvide technical support and troubleshooting for network‐related incidents,



minimising operational disruptionParticipate in an on‐call roster, providing after‐hours support for critical network and communications incidents, unplanned outages and other operational issues to maintain service availability and site reliabilityAssist with network upgrades, technology refreshes and infrastructure enhancement projectsWork collaboratively with Cyber Security, Operations and Technology teams to maintain secure and resilient network environmentsSupport network audits, reviews and testing activities to ensure compliance with company standards and best practicesMaintain accurate network configurations, documentation and technical recordsCoordinate and collaborate with vendors, contractors and service providers to support maintenance and project delivery activitiesImplement and maintain network security controls and protocols to protect business‐critical infrastructureSupport the reliability, availability and performance of communications and network infrastructure across the operationContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance network performance, stability and service deliveryAssist in planning and executing infrastructure projects aligned to site technology and operational requirementsPrerequisites for your success in the roleTertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related discipline – highly desirableDemonstrated experience supporting enterprise network and communications infrastructure environments, gained through 5–10 years of relevant industry experienceDemonstrated experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting LAN, WAN and WiFi networksExperience supporting wireless, microwave, LTE and communications infrastructureStrong understanding of network security principles, standards and protocolsExperience using network monitoring, diagnostic and performance management toolsDemonstrated ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve complex network issuesExperience working with third‐party vendors, contractors and managed service providersExperience supporting large‐scale communications and network infrastructure within mining, resources, industrial, remote‐site or Operational Technology (OT) environmentsExperience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet or similar enterprise networking technologiesExperience supporting infrastructure upgrades,



network deployments and capital or operational technology projectsStrong documentation and technical reporting capabilityExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of customer serviceWillingness to participate in an on‐call roster and respond to critical network and communications incidents outside of rostered hours when requiredCurrent C‐Class Driver's LicenceWork Environment & BenefitsThis role operates on a 7/7 roster and is based at Boddington Gold Mine, one of Australia's largest open‐pit gold mining operations.Working within the Infrastructure and Networks team, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Cyber Security, Technology and Project stakeholders to ensure critical network and communications systems remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose across the site.The successful candidate will participate in an on‐call roster, providing after‐hours support for critical network and communications incidents, unplanned outages and other operational issues.
