The VACCA team is committed to the organisation's visions and values, passionately providing support, service and advocacy for our children and other vulnerable members of the community.Our strength lies with our people.About The RoleThe Team Leader, Education & Family Support provides leadership and oversight across a range of family and early years programs, ensuring children and families receive culturally responsive, strengths based, trauma-informed support.
Leading a team of case managers, family workers, facilitators and educators, the role drives high-quality service delivery while championing the best interests of children, strengthening family connections and promoting cultural wellbeing.
The position may also undertake direct client work and contribute to the growth and development of recent and emerging programs.About YouYou are a value driven leader with a strong understanding of Aboriginal cultures, communities and the issues impacting children, young people and families.
You bring experience working across child and family services, with a sound knowledge of child development, trauma-informed practice and risk management.
A collaborative and capable people leader, you build strong partnerships, support high-quality practice and guide teams to achieve positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
