This relief position offers the security of permanentpart-time employment while providing flexibility to work arange of rostered shifts to support operationalrequirements.
While primarily based at Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain flexibility and may be required to work shifts at Karri & Tuart Lodge as required.
Working closely with the Lifestyle and Allied Health teams,you will assist with the development and delivery of engagingindividual and group programs designed to support residents'physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

About the role:
As a Therapy Assistant, you will:
Assist in the delivery of individual and group therapyprograms.
Support the assessment of residents' needs, interests andabilities.
Encourage participation in activities that promoteindependence, mobility and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with Lifestyle, Allied Health andClinical teams.
Monitor and report changes in residents' wellbeing andfunctional abilities.
Assist with documentation and reporting related to therapyprograms.
Support and guide volunteers assisting with activities andprograms.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of resident-focusedservices.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance.
Previous experience of minimum 6 - 12 months working inResidential Aged Care, rehabilitation or a similarenvironment.




Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy and understanding of the needs of olderpeople.
Sound problem-solving and decision-makingabilities.
Excellent time management and organisationalskills.
The ability to build positive relationships withresidents, families, volunteers and colleagues.
