About the Role:
Under minimal supervision, responsibilities include planning, scheduling, directing, application engineering, procurement, field installation, start-up, and close out of assigned projects.
Ensures projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost, time schedules and ensure positive cash flow.
In addition, position is key interface with the customer and responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing, overseeing and coordinating many aspects for all projects of moderate complexity from award through completion of project, including overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget as required by the contract.




Translating a variety of customer needs / requirements into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet customer requirements; reviews and approves estimated costs prior to bid; provision of technical assistance to sales force as and when required; supervision of project design engineering; supervision of installation labour and subcontractors.
Maintaining accurate data collection with up-to-date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.
Identifying potential project risks and developing/implementing strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
Proactively communicating project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customer and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Coordinating the procurement of materials, supplies, services, and controls necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of project within budget.
Establishing project milestones and analyse costs; Exposure to financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job cost and to provide timely and accurate project cost reports; identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine impact on the project; adjusts or corrects project plan and/or project cost estimates as necessary to meet financial goals.
What We're Looking For:
To be effective in this role the successful candidate will need the following:




Knowledge and experience in technical understanding of the approved & Industry recognized methods of delivering projects from Pre-Start, Rough-In, Fit Off Commissioning and Defects Liability support of Integrated Security systems.
Systems include Access Control, IO CCTV Systems and Platforms, Intercom Systems, and other integrated system connections.
Demonstrated understanding of project management concepts and methods (Preferred certificate supported course completion)
Strong knowledge of written and digital project management tools.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication skills – ability to prepare effective written and perform strong & knowledge based verbal communications in the design and implementation methods of projects.
Attention to detail – ability to manage, review documents, procedures, reports to identify issues/errors and opportunity.
Project management – ability to deliver project outcomes / results on time, ability to juggle priorities and keep multiple projects on track.
Ability to establish effective relationships, collaborate, persuade, and influence.
Strong Financial analytical skills including cost control to demonstrate Financial Responsibility.
Experience
Minimum of five years of previous, relevant engineering, field service or project management experience within the fields of Electronic Security/ Building Automation preferred.
Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, electronic security systems)
Qualifications/Certifications/Licenses
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred.
Security Consultant/Installers License
Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
