Lab and Field is an independent, NATA accredited material testing facility providing geotechnical, aggregate, concrete and proppant testing services to the civil, construction and resources sectors.
With a significant number of projects, and a strong pipeline of work, we are are seeking to expand and build our work force with experienced Field Geo-technicians; and that's were you come in.
Typical Duties include:
Conduct testing for civil, construction and engineering projects both locally and remotely;
Undertake Level 1 compaction control and reporting for earthworks projects;
Liaise with customers and contractors about testing schedules, requirements and results;
Undertake routine sampling and testing of soils for civil engineering projects and laboratory work as required;




Prepare and check test reports and other documentation;
Maintain, calibrate and operate equipment in accordance with quality guidelines;
Ability to work autonomously whilst working as an integral part of a team;
To be successful in this role you will possess:
6 months + experience in field testing;
Nuclear Density License for Soil Technicians;
Experience in a similar role
Valuable physical fitness with sound communication
Familiar with relevant Australian testing standards; and
A current Australian driver's license
