Job Description
INDIAN TEMPTATIONS PTY LTD The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic North Indian cuisine to a high standard, managing the tandoor, supervising kitchen operations, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards in a busy commercial kitchen.

Task & responsibilities Prepare authentic North Indian curries, tandoori dishes, breads, rice dishes, appetisers and desserts in accordance with the restaurant menu and customer expectations.
Operate and manage the tandoor, including preparation of tandoori meats, breads and related dishes to consistent quality standards.
Plan and execute daily menu items, including seasonal specials, while monitoring food quality, presentation and portion control.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff where required.
Order, receive and manage food supplies and kitchen inventory.
Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP principles, sanitation and workplace health and safety regulations.




Qualification & experience Relevant qualification equivalent to AQF Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, or equivalent.
At least two years of relevant full-time commercial kitchen experience, preferably with strong skills in authentic North Indian cuisine.
Demonstrated experience operating a tandoor and preparing tandoori and North Indian dishes to a skilled standard.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational, time management and teamwork skills.
About Company Indian Temptations is a well-established authentic North Indian restaurant located in Blair Athol, Adelaide.
The restaurant has a seating capacity of approximately 150 people and offers an extensive menu featuring traditional North Indian cuisine.
We hold a liquor licence and operate a party hall on the first floor, making us a popular venue for private functions, celebrations and group dining.
