Role Description This can be Part time or full-time hours, on-site Retail Sales Assistant role based in Bundaberg, QLD.
The Retail Sales Assistant will greet customers, identify their printing and supplies needs, and provide product recommendations for printers, toner, and ink.
Duties include processing sales transactions, handling cash and electronic payments, maintaining store displays, and restocking shelves.
The role also involves answering customer inquiries in person and over the phone, managing basic inventory checks, and supporting promotional activities within the store.




The Retail Sales Assistant will collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized retail environment and a positive customer experience.
Qualifications Strong customer service skills, including attentive listening, clear communication, and a helpful, professional manner.Basic sales and retail skills, such as recommending products, handling point-of-sale systems, and processing cash and card transactions.Ability to learn and understand printer, toner, and ink product features, and to explain technical information in simple terms.Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain tidy displays, manage stock levels, and follow store procedures.Reliability and time management, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and the ability to manage tasks during busy periods.Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and performing light manual handling (e.g., lifting boxes, moving stock) in line with safety guidelines.Basic computer literacy for using retail systems, email, and inventory tools.Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.Willingness to follow health, safety, and security practices in a retail environment.
