About the role
Soil Conservation Service
is seeking enthusiastic individuals who would like to undertake a Traineeship program studying a Certificate III in Earthworks (Conservation & Ecosystem Management).
The trainee will undertake a combination of structured training and work activities to gain experience in and develop land management, civil operations and related skills by working under supervision at sites in the region.

This is a 24-month commitment where you will be trained by industry experts whilst spending time at the Soil Conservation Service sites, whilst being mentored and coached by highly skilled and experienced staff.

Essential Requirements
Willingness and ability to undertake on the job and structured training, with completion of in RTO qualification during employment in Conservation & Ecosystem Management or Civil Operations
Hold or willingness to obtain licences/competencies: Manual Class C drivers licence, Chainsaw Operations (Level 1), First Aid training, 4WD training, Agricultural Chemicals Handling Course and other training courses as required by the department
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
