Job description
Nawarddeken Academy in West Arnhem Land is calling for adventurous educators to join our supportive, bi-cultural learning environment.
We're an award-winning school that combines current best educational & leadership practices with First Nations cultural knowledge, creating an engaging and relevant classroom and bush learning experience that is truly one-of-a-kind.

As part of your application, we would appreciate if you could outline your strengths and experience in the following areas:
Commitment to authentic bi-cultural education
Experience as an EAL/D educator who has developed students' literacy and numeracy skills using explicit teaching practices.
Experience in learning from and working collaboratively in teaching teams with First Nations teachers in multi-age classrooms.
Opportunities where you've shown initiative and delivered purposeful learning alongside creative problem solving.
Experience teaching in remote communities / homelands.
Other requirements:
Eligible teacher qualification and NT registration (TRBNT)
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights.

Hold a full, manual drivers licence
