Lead critical Election operations that support democracy

1 x Ongoing Full-time position; 2 x Temporary fixed term positions until 30 June **** (with the possibility for extension)
About the Role
The Senior Voting Services Officer plans, coordinates and implements voting operations including resourcing, training and stakeholder engagement to ensure legislative compliance and optimal usability and accessibility for voters.
The role will work with the Lead to design and implement the postal voting scrutiny processes and operations.
We are currently recruiting positions across the Voting Services (Non-Attendance) team, which comprises of three voting streams:
Postal Voting (Ongoing role)
Declaration Voting (Temporary role)
Technology Assisted Voting (TAV) (Temporary role)
As the Senior Voting Services Officer, you will play an important role in the delivery of the upcoming **** New South Wales State general election and future election events including State and Local government by-elections.

Running and regulating elections
Communicating and engaging with current and future voters, key NSW community stakeholders and NSW election participants; and
Investigating possible offences and enforcing electoral and lobbying laws such as the Electoral Act **** and the Electoral Funding Act ****.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements
As the successful candidate, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
Experience implementing a high-profile, high-risk process requiring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to strict processes and legislative requirements.
Track record in maintaining professional and consistent customer service in a regulatory environment.
Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
Satisfactory Criminal Record check result.

This role is based in at our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office with a hybrid work arrangement.
You will need to have the ability to work outside of business hours during an election period, as well work offsite.
