About the Position
As a Lecturer in Education, you will inspire and prepare the next generation of STEM teachers by delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across on-campus and online learning environments.
You will design and coordinate innovative curriculum, support student success through professional experience, contribute to research and scholarship, and play a key role in course development, quality assurance, and academic leadership while helping improve educational outcomes across the Northern Territory and beyond.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
PhD (or substantial progress) in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience delivering high-quality early childhood teaching using contemporary teaching practices.
Emerging research profile with publications, projects, or a developing research agenda.
Experience preparing preservice teachers and supporting students in higher education.
Ability to coordinate and deliver units across on-campus, online and blended learning environments.
Strong communication skills with diverse student cohorts, including Indigenous communities.
Commitment to inclusive education and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
Experience developing and improving curriculum, learning resources and student outcomes.
Excellent teamwork, communication and digital literacy skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with schools, industry and community stakeholders.
Commitment to the University's values.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $116,429 - $137,659 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $136,221 - $161,061 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
