Job Description
RED ZONE HOLDINGS PTY LTD Carrington's Bar and Grill is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.
We are a well-established hospitality venue known for serving quality pub-style meals and providing excellent customer service.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and takes pride in preparing high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present a wide range of meals in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
Prepare ingredients, portion meals and ensure food is presented consistently and served on time.
Assist with planning and organising daily food preparation to support efficient kitchen operations.
Assist with menu planning and the preparation of new dishes and seasonal specials.
Monitor food quality, freshness, portion control and presentation throughout food preparation and service.
Ensure all food is prepared, stored and handled in accordance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
Assist with stock ordering, stock control, stock rotation and receiving deliveries.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Provide guidance and support to other kitchen staff as required.




Assist with kitchen cleaning, closing procedures and minimising food wastage.
Skills and Experience Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma of Hospitality Management (or equivalent qualification).
At least 2-3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen.
Positive knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
