You will play a vital role in the process of providing Healthcare to the local community in a fast paced environment.
Your communication and ability to work as part of a team will assist you in providing a high standard medical service to a diverse community, whilst your ability to collaborate with key stakeholders will see you supporting clinicians and nursing teams while serving patients and their families.

Reception and registration of all patients presenting to the Emergency Department for treatment and carrying out admission procedures and paperwork for those patients requiring admission to an inpatient bed.
Administration staff within the Emergency Department play a pivotal role in promoting the use of private health insurance by providing accurate and timely information about private health insurance use in a public hospital.
It is the duty of all staff to maintain a high level of customer focus and public relations and to maintain a professional attitude towards staff, patients and visitors.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service & empathy towards others.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Demonstrated advanced administrative and clerical skills including data accuracy & attention to detail.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage competing demands in a high volume work environment and problem solve as appropriate.
The ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team and the ability to work independently.
The ability to work an 8 hour shift on a 7 day 24 hour rotating roster.
